Mistake 1: Not choosing the right level for budgeting (Professionalism)
Initially, I always set my meta ad budget at the 'Ad Set' level. At that time, I didn't understand how important it is to set the budget at the 'Campaign Level' or Advantage Campaign Budget (CBO) level to make a large-scale campaign successful.
If you set the budget at the campaign level, Facebook's AI automatically spends more money on the best performing ad sets and brings better results.
Now I know how to increase ROI by distributing the budget at the right level.
Mistake 2: Ignoring the power of AI in interest targeting (Expert Insight)
Facebook is constantly updating their system, which I didn't fully grasp at first.
I used to just focus on certain 'interests'. But in modern meta ads, AI is now so powerful that it can find the right customers on its own. The delay in understanding these updates led to a lot of data loss in the beginning.
Now I reach the perfect audience using AI-Driven Targeting.
Error 3: Reducing the quantity of ad creatives (Solving Problems)
Using too few "ad creatives" (pictures or videos) in the campaign was one of my major errors.
I assumed that one or two pictures would be sufficient. In actuality, though, AI need sufficient alternatives or variants to function. In order for the algorithm to determine which message is most appealing to readers, I now employ a variety of creatives and videos.

Looking at the Before vs After Optimization results above, you can definitely understand how much the right strategy can change a campaign. Where the number of clicks increased from 443 to 868 and the CTR (Click-Through Rate) reached 3.17% from 1.99%.
Now my question is - are you managing your ad account using data and AI like this, or are you still having problems with results? Do you know how to ensure maximum use of your budget?
